Wines inspired by the spirit of place - ‘L’esprit du lieu’. The wines of Terres Fidèles are created in the Roussillon and surrounding regions. The vineyard is planted on the plains and foothills in the south of France, between the Pyréneées and the Mediterranean Sea between Narbonne and Beziers. The area benefits from two distinctive climates that allow the production of a large diversity and styles of wines: the Mediterranean climate for ripe and juicy wines and the Atlantic climate around Carcassonne for more structured and mineral wines. Tasting Note: A pale salmon pink wine, refreshing, starry bright and fruity, with delicate red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry. Food Match: We have paired this with Aromatic Shredded Hoisin Chicken Wraps

Bodegas Navajas Rioja Tinto A family winery that was founded in 1918 as Bodegas Arjona, but in 1983 the Navajas family became the sole shareholders and changed its name to Bodegas Navajas. Navajas believes that the quality of the wine begins in the vineyards and for this reason they monitor and control the vineyards which belong to their growers in the Rioja Alta and Rioja Baja. All the grapes are hand picked at the end of September/begining of October. Fermentation is in temperature controlled stainless steel vats using natural yeasts. The wine is blended before the malolactic fermentation takes place which is followed by a further few months ageing in steel prior to bottling. Tasting Note: Bright cherry red in colour, the nose is full of ripe red berries and a touch of spice. The palate is dry and soft with juicy fruit, gentle tannins and fine balancing acidity. Food Match: We have paired this with Rendang Beef and Sweet Potato Curry

The wines of Terres Fidèles are created in the Roussillon and surrounding regions, a place of remarkable stories where layers of history and cultures are embedded in the raw and wild landscape. Felicette red is a fruity and very well-balanced blend produced in the South-West of France, between Narbonne and Beziers, with a hot and dry Mediterranean climate influence. Soils are sandy and silty as well as a chalk/ clay mix on the hillsides. Tasting Note: A bright red colour with purplish reflections. A powerful nose of violets and red fruits. Very tasty in the mouth with raspberry and plum aromas. Medium-bodied on the palate, soft and juicy. Food Match: We have paired this with Portuguese Piri-Piri Chicken and Baked Potato
