The food we eat and where it comes from is really important. Sourcing responsibly is important because it can help protect the health of the planet. We work with suppliers all over Ireland to source you the freshest and best ingredients. Depending on what is in season, the time of year and many other factors this can change. If you discover a new or interesting supplier or product please feel free to get in touch.
Here is an outline of some of our suppliers we’ve been working with recently:

Ray Collier Craft Butchers – Howth

Since the first week of DropChef we have sourced the majority of our meat products from one of Ireland’s most trusted craft butchers, supplying many of Ireland’s top restaurants. We have grown a lot since week one however we have stayed loyal to Ray and his team as their quality is unbeatable and it helps support local jobs.

Keelings

The Keelings family have been growing vegetables and supplying local markets since 1930. Since then they have expanded and are one of Ireland’s most experienced fruit & vegetable suppliers.

Wrights of Howth

A name synonymous with quality within the marine community. Incredibly this business has been within the family since 1893. Based in Howth harbor, just meters away from where the fish are landed and a very short drive away from DropChef’s fulfillment center. Our fish is never frozen, fileted by hand and vacuum packed immediately to ensure peak freshness.

As our menu changes very frequently we also purchase some products from: The Happy Pear, Dublin Food Sales, Vernon Catering, Sheridans Cheesemongers, Daisy Cottage Farm, O’Mahony Meats, Henderson Food Services,  Musgrave Group, Shines Irish Tuna.

If you are a local producer or supplier and would like to see yourself grow with us please feel free to get in touch with the details of what you’ve got going on.
