Messer del Fauno Grillo

Messer del Fauno has been producing wine since 1875 but this Grillo is a radical departure from the venerable tradition. Grillo is one of Sicily's best white grape varieties as this unoaked white wine illustrates. Tasting Note: Delicate bouquet with notes or tropical fruits and Mediterranean flowers it is rich and full on the palate. Dry with refreshing acidity it has a nutty, citrus flavour with hints of stemmed apple. Well made wine with lovely crisp, dry finish. Food Match: We have paired this with Chicken Piccata With Crispy Potatoes & Green Beans
