Tardano Grenache

Our fruit is sourced from old vineyards around the villages of Leaché and Aibar in the very eastern reaches of Navarra, close to the border with Aragon. Later ripening than in neighbouring Rioja, the grapes possess a freshness and vitality that is absolutely delicious. The vineyards are a mix of bush-vine (en vaso) and trellised and a very careful grading of all vineyard parcels is done prior to harvest. Tasting Note: The resulting wine is intense, with bright red fruits, hints of spice and beautiful texture. There is a coolness to the fruit set against the irrepressible generosity of Grenache. Food Match: We have paired this with Pan Fried Smoky Beef with Potato & Eggs

Montsable Chardonnay The wines of Montsablé are inspired by the desire to craft elegant Burgundian varietals from Southern France. Working with growers in cooler sites of lower vigour, we seek out fruit that delivers pure flavours and great balance. In the winery, the fruit is handled carefully to build texture and mouthfeel, with oak only ever used to add just the most subtle of seasoning. The result is a Chardonnay with great palate weight, bright fruit and texture while our Pinot positively sings with lifted cherry and wild strawberry fruit. Tasting Note: This classic Burgundian variety has been produced in the sunny climate of Languedoc in the south of France. Although much warmer than the cool climate of the Côte d'Or great care has been taken to ensure that it is every bit as elegant. A bright yellow gold hue and seductive scents of blossom and cinnamon spice. A remarkable melange of pears, peach, honey toffee, cream and vanilla (from a short spell of oak ageing) on the palate. Felicette Grenache Rose Wines inspired by the spirit of place - ‘L’esprit du lieu’. The wines of Terres Fidèles are created in the Roussillon and surrounding regions. The vineyard is planted on the plains and foothills in the south of France, between the Pyréneées and the Mediterranean Sea between Narbonne and Beziers. The area benefits from two distinctive climates that allow the production of a large diversity and styles of wines: the Mediterranean climate for ripe and juicy wines and the Atlantic climate around Carcassonne for more structured and mineral wines. Tasting Note: A pale salmon pink wine, refreshing, starry bright and fruity, with delicate red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry.
